Applications have officially opened for the Erasmus Mundus Master of Arts in Public Policy (MAPP) scholarship for the 2027–2029 academic cycle, providing international applicants with an opportunity to pursue fully funded postgraduate education across leading European institutions.
The two-year master’s program is structured across two partner universities situated in two different European nations. Designed to cultivate a globally diverse academic cohort, the initiative welcomes qualified applicants from across the globe into a blended, multi-institutional study structure.
Comprehensive Financial Coverage and Stipend
Under the Erasmus Mundus scholarship framework, successful recipients will receive complete financial support for the full duration of their postgraduate studies. This includes a 100 percent tuition fee waiver covering all academic and institutional charges for the 24-month period.
In addition to tuition coverage, selected scholars will receive a living allowance of €1,400 per month for the duration of the two-year program. According to program details, this regular stipend is designated to help recipients cover accommodation, subsistence, travel costs, visa documentation, and related living expenses incurred while studying in Europe.
Academic Structure and Mobility Tracks
The Erasmus Mundus MAPP curriculum is characterized by an international mobility framework. The program features four distinct study tracks distributed across higher education institutions located in Austria, Spain, England, and the Netherlands.
Enrolled candidates will select one specific mobility track from the available options. Each track entails completing coursework and academic assignments across two separate partner universities in two different countries, ensuring an immersive cross-border educational experience.
Practical Training and Joint Certification
The academic roadmap integrates theoretical instruction with mandatory practical requirements. Alongside conventional classroom study, participants must complete a thesis report, participate in an organized study trip, and undertake a thesis-related internship during their two years of enrollment.
Upon meeting all graduation and curriculum requirements, scholars will be conferred a joint degree issued jointly by the two partner institutions attended during the program, accompanied by an official diploma supplement.
Additional Institutional Funding Options
Apart from the core Erasmus Mundus scholarship offered through the Mundus MAPP initiative, prospective students may also explore and apply for supplementary or alternative scholarship programs administered directly by the affiliated partner universities.
The program maintains a rigorous evaluation process aimed at building a diverse and high-achieving international student cohort across all designated mobility routes.
