University College London (UCL) has announced a fully funded PhD studentship scheduled for the 2027 intake, dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and environmental science.

Focus on AI and Regional Climate Science

The doctoral research programme will specifically concentrate on artificial intelligence and regional climate modelling. As advanced computational techniques increasingly intersect with climate analysis, the studentship aims to support specialised academic inquiry into how machine learning and data-driven models can be applied to understand regional climate dynamics.

The position provides full funding for selected doctoral candidates, enabling researchers to undertake high-level study in climate modelling frameworks and machine learning technologies at the London-based university.
