The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Composite Circle has apprehended the primary suspects of an organised gang accused of extorting millions of rupees from students and their families under the pretext of securing higher marks in the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT).
Targeted Operations Across Multiple Locations
According to an FIA spokesperson, law enforcement personnel executed coordinated raids at various sites to detain the individuals behind the operation. The actions were initiated following specific directives issued by the FIA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director.
The criminal syndicate reportedly targeted vulnerable candidates seeking admission into medical institutions, extracting substantial sums of money with false assurances of tampering with examination results to deliver elevated scores.
Enforcement Action Against Fraudulent Networks
The apprehension of these central suspects marks a significant step in curbing fraudulent schemes that exploit competitive academic entrance assessments. Authorities continue their efforts against networks that systematically deceive students and parents through unlawful promises of guaranteed admission.
